My research focusses on the interrelations between literature and other media and discourses (the latter include politics, economics and philosophy, the former, digital media and film). I am also interested in literary theory,  cultural studies and gender studies.

Current Projects

My current projects include:

Edition of Zuordnungen in Bewegung: Geschlecht und sexuelle Orientierung quer durch die Disziplinen (together with A. Keilhauer and R. Liebold): (online publication)

Arbeitsgruppe “Rechtsbegriffe im Allgemeinen Gleichstellungsgesetz (AGG)” This interdisciplinary group discusses, and aims to develop, definitions of terms and concepts used in the writing and interpreting of laws and in other legal contexts, including race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.

Visit the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender – Difference – Diversity (IZGDD), which includes workshops, conferences and more: IZGDD.

External Engagements

I regularly offer external reading courses on the (popular) classics of English literature (literaturferien.de; external link).
