Curiosity in English Literature; The ‘Long’ Eighteenth Century; Contemporary Writing in Britain; Gothic Literature, Vampire Literature, Fantastic Literature; Historiographic Metafiction; Alterity and Xenophobia; Parallel Societies, Alternative Cultures
