Excellent Teaching
Dr. Katharina Gerund is one of five laureates to receive this year’s FAU teaching award. The laudation emphasizes her talent to inspire students with her clearly structured seminars, which touch upon current cultural and political phenomena while remaining on the cutting edge of research. Her classes are well-prepared and provide students with an excellent mix of materials and activities. In addition to that, Katharina Gerund is extraordinarily commited to supervising and supporting students. The department congratulates her on this well-deserved award.
